My Story
I've always been a candle girl. ALWAYS. I knew all the wick tips and tricks, and scented candles were my thing. My niece started selling a new product called Scentsy. She tried to hook me...and yes, the different smells were good, but not for me, no way, I was a candle girl, thank you very much.
Fast forward a couple of years to September 2018 when I was interested in a promotion that my niece was sharing on her social media page. I LOVED IT!! I got the most delicious fall scents, without the fire. It was that easy. I hadn't really been using my candles since I became a pet owner, for the simple reason of fire safety, so getting back into aromatherapy was a real treat and I was excited for the Christmas box to come out. At that point, my niece tossed out the idea of me selling Scentsy, and that's how my Scentsy Story begins!
I'm getting to an age where retirement is within my view. I saw selling Scentsy as a way to boost my income so I could get rid of a little debt before then. I had dabbled in other direct sales companies in the past, so I basically knew what to expect. Wow! Was this ever different. I started with co-workers, friends and family and my sales were pretty good. From there, it really took off and now I have a team! People Love Scentsy!
I keep a book with me all the time and I don't even have to be pushy. In the past I only sold to family and friends. I was happy to sell enough to pay for the product that I used but I had no desire to share with others, I didn't ever want to grow a team. Now, being able to share Scentsy with others has allowed me to make some new friends, earn a little extra money and the chance to share this amazing opportunity with other people like me. I am currently growing my team, and am looking forward to earning a trip or two in the near future too.
